Looking for advice as someone with POTS.

I also posted on a POTS sub as well but I wanted to ask for some general advice as well. I’m a young adult in college, so I think working on my diet will help a lot but I also know I need to get back into exercise. The only struggle is that I have POTS, and my heart rate absolutely skyrockets when I workout, and I almost pass out even when starting small. This issue doesn’t seem to affect me as much when I’m lifting weights. I was wondering if it would be a feasible workout plan to focus on weight lifting and building muscle mass first. I’m thinking I could be able to lift weights early in the morning, walk around all day (across campus and such), and maybe get some extra cardio in in the evenings with a walk just to walk. If I was able to lift weights, keep up with minimal cardio, and work on improving my diet, would that be a good beginning weight loss plan? I’ve not been able to speak with any professionals about this and I honestly know nothing about weight loss/what lifting could do for me. Just looking for some advice or suggestions. I’m sorry if this post is stupid or annoying, I just don’t even know where to begin.
