Quick lane change signal

New to this thread. I go to court in 2 days for 2 separate tickets for the same incident.. I changed lanes using the “quick lane change” setting in my car you just tap the blinker instead of pushing it down and it blinks 3 times to change lanes. Got pulled by a state trooper and got 2 tickets for “unsafe lane change” and “ illegal signal less then 100 feet before turning” so I’m wondering why does this come standard in new vehicles now if it’s not allowed to be used. How do I fight these tickets ? Cause it’s upwards of 6 points (3 points for each ticket in New York)
