Leave or stay? Temporary Josephite marriage

I’m going to try my best to keep this concise.

My husband and I have been together for going on 8 years and married going on 6, we’ve had some pretty extreme challenges but we’ve committed to working on things and blah blah blah lol

Husband is a barely practicing Cradle Catholic who doesn’t like church and kinda decides on his own what parts of the Bible he’s going to take or leave. I am a former Baptist who has pretty much converted to Catholicism in my heart and I am now trying to take it seriously while I finish RCIA. The thing is, we were both married in the past and need an anullment but we’ve continued our relationship as we always had and it’s really started to convict my spirit so I suggested a temporary Josephite marriage until our marriage is blessed so I can finish my sacraments and be confirmed, husband reluctantly agreed.

The thing is, our communication leaves a lot to be desired and I’ve felt for awhile and have told him flat out, all the stuff we’ve gone through…. I don’t feel like I can talk to him half the time and I’m starting to resent him and I’m wondering since the Church and God doesn’t recognize my marriage anyway, is it worth it to be fighting this hard to have our marriage blessed when I could just….not? Just call it quits and go on with my life ya know? I love him deeply but idk, I feel like if it’s right it should be easier??

I don’t really know what I’m looking for on here but my friends are all very worldly and I don’t really have anyone I can talk to about this 😅 is there anyone who has gone through anything similar? Since my husband agreed to the Josephite marriage I’m going to go ahead and try to get a meeting with my Priest soon but my anxiety is at an all time high trying to figure out what I should do. Any advice is welcome and sorry if it was a bit long.
