Lack of customer service

I am so done with IKEA.

I purchased a dresser in May to set up in our new home we were purchasing. By time I set it up it was July. Realized that Hemnes 8 drawer is missing 9 drawer slides. Called customer service and after hours on phone they send me a new one. Replacement was rescheduled many times and the pick up of old dresser was even worse. Delivery no showed over and over. I receive new dresser a few days ago with SAME EXACT ISSUE. The manual is even wrong.

My son is in the hospital and this issue has taken time away from him, hours and hours on phone and multiple days of waiting for delivery (I had to be there to sign), and nobody would show. I even had to leave the hospital and drive an hour home this weekend when they finally decided to come 6 hours after their delivery agreement.

IKEA now wants me to once again take apart the dresser, repack it and have it picked up so I can get my money. I will not be home so will need to leave it outside. No longer have the box so it will need to be halfway put together for pick up. It is raining out and they are telling me if it is damaged from rain; I won’t get a refund. Not one member has even mentioned maybe this is something that should be fixed for other customers! The manual is totally incorrect for this dresser and after researching, I’m not the only one who has ran into this!

I have spent so much time on this and gas going to and from hospital, I should be billing IKEA at this point
