I bought out the lease for the accord 2 years ago for 16.5, so in terms of trade in value, I think I did well. It was lower than it should have been since the carfax showed the underbody damage that happened when my tires were stolen :(. Their original trade in was 16k, but told them I needed more.

The interest rate is high, but I plan on paying it off in 3-4 months. Only took the loan for credit history. I did make sure there was no prepayment penalty.

I did also ask them to throw in weather mats and locked lug nuts.

Comparing the new vs old car:
-old car was a hay ride, felt every bump. CRV is much smoother than accord sport
-somehow CRV is shorter than the Accord, which I like
-Honda seems to have went from 4 way lumbar on the 2020 accord to 2 way Lumbar on the 2026 CRV. It’s still good though
-I wish the EXL had navigation on the drivers cluster but it’s not a deal breaker
-the screen on the 2026 is noticeably bigger which I like. Most of the settings, move to the driver’s cluster instead of the infotainment screen, which I’m a fan of. The infotainment screen is basically just for CarPlay.
- for some reason the 2020 Accord didn’t have digital MPH, glad this one does.
-going from a near base Accord to near fully upgraded CRV means I got a ton of new features. Really like the parking monitors and blind spot indicators.
-the canyon river blue is really beautiful.
- Lastly, why tf don’t the memory seats include mirror set ups.

Traded my 2020 Accord Sport 1.5pt for 2026 CRV EXL, how’d I do?
