Modding Help

I'm trying to install the NCR Helmet, Coat, Riot Vest, and Service Rifle mods, as well as Undead Nightmare 2, but I have no idea where to put the files, how to activate them, or anything else. I know next to nothing about computer files or file management. I have LML installed, and I copied the files to there, but they aren't working.
