Full frame a mount vs e mount
I have a Minolta Dynax 4 (aka maxxum 4), and I've ended up with a pretty decent set of A-mount lenses (50mm AF f/1.7, 28-80 kit, 70-210 AF f/4 (aka "beercan"). Currently, I primarily shoot digital with the E-mount system, so I don't have access to full-frame, and to do so, I'd have to invest from scratch for the entire lens kit. I was wondering, does it make sense in 2025-2026 to spend about €2000 on a used, top-of-the-line Sony A-mount full-frame camera, or will saving up for a full-frame mirrorless system be more convenient in the long run? What would be the real advantages of having access to full-frame, even on older technology?
