[Discussion] My friends game keeps Freezing/Crashing when he hits esc.

We were doing a cusomts raid we killed 3 PMC's got our quests done, went to BIg Red and finished two more quests. Just as we are on our way to flare extract he hits escape to check a key bind and his game froze, timed him out and before he could reconnect a PMC with grenade launcher popped him. Does anyone else have this problem? If so how did you fix it?
