Account hasn’t grown for the past 5 ish months

Hey guys!

I decided to start posting consistently (at least once a day) since the end of April. Sometimes I do 2 posts a day but depends on my schedule.

I’m feeling very frustrated and discouraged. I’ve been capped at 370 followers for months now. NO MATTER what I post the number doesn’t increase. It’s only random brand managers that I end up blocking.

I’ve tested out many different strategies and none of them have worked. For instance..

• Starting a series: Eg “what I’d wear..” series. Only got over 1K views once from that. Eg “vintage closet series: 1 item styled different ways”. Under 1K views for those too. Eg second life market diaries. Did not perform very well either.

• more visual hooks: downloaded an editing app. Unfortunately made a lot of my videos blurry and also didn’t perform very well.

• low effort content: Things like OOTDs, random humour posts etc. This technique is very 50/50. Even if the video does do it well it will barely hit 1K views.

I also do food reviews. They do okay but again under 1K views.

A few of my videos have done pretty good. Such as a hair-related video that got 10K and a makeup transformation that got 20K views. I tried to post similar content and it did okay but still under 1K views.

I also posted a few sewing machine videos for beginners since I’m learning. They did slightly better but it still didn’t translate into new followers.

I’m not sure what to do? I enjoy posting videos but I’m starting to feel insecure. Why is none of my content doing well? I’ve also tried CTAs but they don’t seem to work. Am I just not what TikTok wants to see? Should I just give up? Any advice 😊
