[INFO] Is it worth grabbing a DENON AVR-1612 or a Panasonic SA-HT740 for $35?

Hi all,

I came across two deals:

• DENON AVR-1612 – $35 
• Panasonic SA-HT740 – $35 

I’m planning to build a proper surround sound setup in the future, but right now my setup is pretty minimal (just headphones and a DAC/amp).

Here’s the situation:

• The Panasonic can play CDs, but its speakers are fixed and can’t be upgraded. 
• The Denon is more future-proof since I can pair it with better speakers later, but at the moment I wouldn’t be able to take full advantage of it. 

I was originally planning to wait until the Thanksgiving sales to buy speakers, but I spotted these deals now and I’m wondering if either is worth grabbing.
