Dare you to death director changed

Dare you to death initially had a fantastic director assigned. Same director as gifted and gifted graduation, so I was really feeling good about this series. But, he pulled out the drama very recently due to scheduling issues. I'm heartbroken because ik he can do mystery and thrillers really well... Now, all I can hope for is that they replace him with an equally experienced director. Someone who knows this genre and not just bl romance. Please please don't turn a really good crime novel into a bad romcom that only focuses on romance🤞🙏
