S24 Ultra GPU stuck at 366mhz with benchmarks being unaffected.
I have an issue with my S24 Ultra GPU performance. When running heavy games like Wuthering Waves or emulators like Winlator gpu performs well (630-720mhz on demand) for around 5-10 minutes, after that dropping to 500 and shortly after to 630mhz.
I tried running 3dmark wildlife extreme stress test: GPU frequency peaked at 903mhz and then quickly reduced to 630mhz, staying like this for the rest of the 20 minute stress test (not what happened with games). I ran the stress test several times one by one with no breaks and gpu didnt go lower than 630mhz.
I'm also using a peltier cooler that keeps phone's battery temps below 30 degrees. CPU and GPU frequency doesn't seem to matter as it throttles both when its below 70°C and even 60°C (monitored via devinfo overlay). Also I'm fairly sure its not scheduler deeming load as "not high enough" since the frame rate drops below 60 fps in WuWa and has a noticeable hit in all games I play on emulators (hell, even old games like NFS MOST WANTED 2005 are suffering from it, on 630p it dips from 60 fps to 40-50, my other Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 device doesnt have that issue at all even without active cooling).
Things I already tried: -Increasing threshold by 2 in Thermal Guardian -Disabling GOS/setting power mode in Game Booster to performance -Reducing graphics settings -Reducing brightness -Restarting (one of the first things I did, the phone also had the same issue even after full factory reset) -Despite being on oneui 7 Root Activity Launcher allows to open performance labs menu and I verified that "Alternate Performance Mode" is turned on as well. -Setting "sem_enhanced_cpu_responsiveness=1" and "restricted_device_performance=0,0" in set edit
I've been trying to find a fix for this issue for 1.5 months now and it's been driving me absolutely crazy. For such an expensive phone from such a trusted company I find such performance absolutely unacceptable. Any help is deeply appreciated.
