Black Volt/White Flare prices

Hi! I’m just getting into collecting cards since 5th gen is my favorite and looking into prices (wanted to get like an etb or smth) I see they are way above MSRP, I was wondering if u guys think this prices will go down as a new set comes out and maybe I could get some on retail price. should I wait for that? or there’s no way thats happening and I should get some now as soon as I can before prices go up??
