Husband claims he received a horrible iPhone message about me the other day, but there is no record of it anywhere. I think he is lying.
Last night my significant other, while drunk, claimed he received a text message with a bunch of hurtful and untrue things about me (calling me a w**** and s***) that could rip our marriage apart. He said he received it via WhatsApp on Saturday.
Fast forward to today, he is saying it was not on WhatsApp and was received via text. I found no record of the text on the ATT incoming text report from Saturday. He had deleted all messages and even permanently deleted them on his phone. He did not realize that every single iMessage is saved on his computer. I checked and no message like the one he was describing existed on the synced computer for that date or within the last week.
He is saying he thinks someone text savvy was able to send a message without record of it anywhere.
My question is, is this possible? I understand apps can be used to send untraceable messages, but we are talking iMessage or SMS.
His story is VERY farfetched and I think he is lying because he lashed out while drunk and it trying to fabricate a reason for calling me hurtful names.
