For the people that played Drakengard 1

One one hand, I really want to experience it firsthand by playing it and really absorb what it has to offer.

On the other hand, I know it's notoriously tedious and perhaps even moreso when you emulate it..

So for those who have actually played it, how was your experience? How long did it take you to complete it? Is there a way to expedite the boring parts? Like a chest engine for example?
