Buying a Car

I’m looking to buy a used Suburu soon (Crosstrek or Outback) but I don’t know what dealerships to trust and how to go about the buying process. How can you tell when they are adding dumb fees trying to upsell you?

Just looking for general advice or any dealership you have worked with that were really helpful. Thank you in advance!
