I scratched another person’s car but they said it was ok and drove away

Hey, first post on Reddit so idk if I’m doing this right or if this is the right community. Sorry. Anyways, I (21) scuffed another car in the parking lot. Stupid, I know. But when the guy came out, I profusely apologized and offered to pay for any repairs, but he just said “it’s ok, don’t worry about it” and drove off. He didn’t take pictures of either car or my license plate or anything. There was just some paint that came off of my car (I am paying to repair that of course and I unfortunately accept any raise in insurance on my end) and it looked like his car might’ve been scratched or it was something that would come out with a good wash. Regardless, am I okay? Will the guy get me in trouble even though we didn’t exchange info or take pictures? I’m just freaking out right now so help is appreciated.
