CapMetro Bike Shelters

Anyone have experience using the metro bike shelters? Are they safe or would I risk having my bike stolen? I noticed no other bikes in the shelter which is a little concerning. I'm considering storing my bike at the Saltillo Station shelter and securing it with a U lock. Any advice appreciated! (including alternative storage ideas if the bike shelter isn't safe)
