Mystery to me why this happens

Does anyone know what is happening when you see an item you want, click the "see details" button only to watch the circle spin with no end. This can happen every time for that particular item for days and then when looking for it later, it is has completely disappeared. Does this mean it is out of stock or some kind of mistake. I haven't a clue, does one know what is happening?
