SAHM looking for PM specific resources around interview practice or career coaching

I’ve been a “SAHM” for a year (I was really laid off). I love it but we really can’t afford it even after cutting back / husband promotions / etc, so I’m looking at going back to work.

I’m getting a good number of interviews but no offers. I know this market is tough, but I can’t help but think it’s because I was never actually good at my job / not a strong PM. I mean I was laid off right?! And my last job was a really bad fit so that also took a hit on my confidence as well. The reason I’m getting interviews is because I have very specific domain experience. When I ask for feedback after interviews it’s usually like “well you don’t have experience in X very specific and niche thing within that domain” or “we have another candidate who also has that experience but went to a better school/worked at FAANG/etc” (stuff I don’t have). I feel like these answers are possibly cop-out-y and not the “real” reason if that makes sense.

I do interview practice regularly with friends but I feel it’s not the same as a professional because their feedback is possibly too “nice” or not experienced enough. It’s been good for practicing stories, but not helpful for actually getting an offer.

So I’m wondering if anyone here has interview or PM career focused resources that theyve had good experiences with and recommend. Someone who will tell me exactly what I’m doing wrong. Thank you in advance!
