AIO feeling betrayed by friend, is it warranted to feel mad

So here’s some backstory. I went through a messy breakup with a girl I used to work with. We’ve technically been done since early June, but it only became “official” a couple weeks ago. I’ve been trying to move on, but it’s been rough.

I don’t really have a lot of friends—I tend to keep to myself—but this one guy is kind of all I have right now. We’re not super close, but by default he’s probably my closest friend at the moment. And I trusted him.

The night in question, I ran into him at a bar. He mentioned his girlfriend was out with my ex (they’re childhood best friends, so I didn’t think too much of it). A small skirmish broke out at the bar—not a big deal—and afterward, he told me he was heading home.

Not long after, I stopped at another bar I manage, one that’s closer to my place. I pull in and immediately see his car parked out front. My gut sank. I walk in and see him, his girlfriend, and my ex all sitting together. He comes over, talks to me for a minute, and then heads out. My ex disappears for 10–20 minutes—not super weird in the moment.

Later that night, someone left a purse at the bar. While checking the cameras to figure out who it belonged to, I ended up rewatching that part of the night. That’s when I saw everything from a different perspective.

When I rewatched the footage, I saw her reaction the moment I walked in. She looked upset—like she wasn’t expecting to see me there. She immediately pulled out her phone and started texting, and I’m assuming it was the guy. Not long after, she left the bar for 10–20 minutes, and that’s when I saw her meet up with him in his car out front. He pulled into the side lot once she came back in and waited—presumably to pick her up when her shift ended.

Now, watching it all again sober… I can’t shake the feeling of betrayal. Did my friend know her new guy was showing up? Did he lie about going home so he could be there? Was he cool with that whole thing playing out while I walked in blind? It’s feel like me showing up fucked all of their plans up.

I don’t really have a lot of friends rn, he’s pretty much the only person I would talk to outside of my ex and family, but we aren’t super close.

I’m angry. I already felt like he’d been avoiding me leading up to that night, and now it just feels like I got hit from both sides her and him. I don’t know if I should say something or just let it go. Am I right to feel hurt? Or am I just spiraling?
