I used to orgasm easily and now I can’t at all
My bf and I have been together 6 years. The 1st year was great and I had no issues. Then I got an IUD and had it for 5 years. Over that 5 years, I wanted sex less & less and stopped initiating. I didn’t really realize this but then we had talks about it and he felt like I didn’t like him anymore, which wasn’t true. Suddenly when my IUD hit 5 years, I lost all libido and even my clit sensation. It’s literally gone. I feel no desire and no feeling. I immediately had it removed and it’s been over 11 weeks now and it hasn’t returned in the slightest. My lack of interest for all that time before, and now wanting absolutely nothing to do with sex has really been taking a toll on my relationship. I feel like we are very disconnected now, which makes sense because having sex made us closer a lot. I feel terrible that it’s practically a chore to me now. I can’t even convince myself to do it or anything, because I will not have any satisfaction. I MISS being horny and being satisfied with it. I miss desiring my partner and having fun with him. I feel like I’m not even myself since I can’t do this anymore and I feel terrible that I’m not being a good partner. He knows and has barely said anything else about it but I know deep down it upsets him too. I don’t know what is going on with me but I’m hoping someone can help? Most people who get the IUD removed have their libido come back with vengeance weeks ago.. i seen a gynecologist and it wasn’t much help. What can I do from here ? I feel like my body is completely messed up (I’m almost certain it’s not a mental/psychological thing) and I’m having a very difficult time dealing with it. I feel like I am not myself at all.
