Is my colleague inappropriate or am I dramatic?
I (21F) have been working with a lady (45F) over the past few years in retail. She has always given strange vibes to anyone she meets; quite grandiose and proud, but it’s kinda obvious that it’s deep rooted in insecurity. I won’t even go into some of the stuff she’s said to me it’s just very strange.
Last week I told her I was going to a wedding and she asked what I was wearing. I showed her a pic of the dress I’m wearing as I had worn it before and she had a massive reaction to it. She told me I ‘have a fine pair’ and kept going on about how she is shocked at the breasts I have, to the point that she showed another colleague the picture. It made me so uncomfortable that she had seen me in that way and told me that. Today she was telling a different colleague about my dress and my body and she was looking for me to show the picture to her too but I refused. I told her I’m not because of the big deal she made about it last week. I said jokingly ( but not really) said I would tell the manager about this , to which she said ‘what about the big boobs you have?’ I just walked away and she apologised but I still keep thinking about it.
I understand banter and craic but we are not on that level. She has kids the same age as me. Is it weird to be so bothered about it, should I do anything about it ?
