Service Request put in by VA

I orginally claimed the wrong conditions and those were understandably denied; but they diagnosed with other conditions on my denial that I filed a supplemental for. They were added to the original claim but then now my claim is closed without them being adjudicated. I immediately called the VA, the nice lady I spoke to said they should have been and put in a service request. Does anyone know what that looks like? How long that might take? or will I see anything on the portal during that?
