Is there a good way to determine what you should study in Germany?

Study

I'm moving back pretty soon. I don't know what my language proficiency is. All I know is that I'm bilingual. Was told by my consulate to throw my diploma in the trash as it's not viable in Germany.

Anyway, I was planning to go to uni to become a pharmacist so I could work in a hospital because I don't like working directly with people (i worked in retail, that was a nightmare), but a recent post here made a day ago about the pharmaceutical industry looked very grim to me and multiple people said it is horror in it's own right to study it. The wiki also says that it is very competitive and you need an extraordinary gpa to get in that; which I'm too dumb for, so I have dropped that dream entirely and now I don't know what to study. I like many different things but can't put my finger on what I should do or where I should go. I know I don't want to be a custodian or work in a factory for the rest of my life but I don't know what's right for me or what jobs I may enjoy. Although, maybe most people don't go for careers they enjoy and instead go for practicality and money - unless they have a high gpa and can study whatever they want.

Is studying even viable for some people? Are some people just never meant to get anywhere? Certainly, there must be some way to determine an avenue - even for someone as stupid as myself.
