Game rules vs Real World rules
In video games, developers often enforce extremely strict anti‑cheat measures sometimes even at the kernel level to make sure everyone plays on a fair field. Yet in real life, especially within the financial system, the opposite often seems true. Individuals and institutions exploit loopholes, engineer complex financial products, or engage in lobbying to tilt the game in their favor behavior that, if compared to gaming, would clearly qualify as cheating. Despite this, they rarely face real consequences. Our real‑world systems could take a lesson from games when it comes to enforcing fairness. Otherwise, we end up with a world where some people are essentially playing in “god mode,” while others are barely surviving despite playing by the rules.
