Potentially new to the community! 99' XJ

I absolutely curse up and down about people asking if something is a good deal and here I am... Hypocrite and all.

I have the opportunity to buy a 99' with 250kish miles on it, new tires, rebuild rear diff, spare parts, runs but needs work, for $1k. Clean title, know the owner, etc.

No rust on the frame I can see, shop said it was in good shape too, floor plan drain has rust but that's easy fix.

I've always wanted an XJ to build, this seems like the best possible option.

So, do it? I feel like $1k even with 250k is a great starting point
