Am I too late to the party or not?

Just to start off, I play gacha game casually and only spend lightly for the games I actually like. I don’t really subscribe to gacha youtubers and only look up news on gacha games occasionally.

I remember seeing quite a lot of advertisement for Ertheria couple months ago but didn’t think much of it. I decided to give a go last week and I’ve been enjoying it. Currently level 36 and still progressing pve with a bit of pvp.

So I naturally assume that the game must be in a good state, until I start stumbling a lot of doom posting and content creator basically telling the game is dead 1 month after release. I think the nail in the coffin moment for me was when I saw the July gacha revenue and saw how much Etheria has dropped off.

I’m a bit bumped out from this because I could see myself playing this in the long run and maybe spend once in a while. But now it feels like I’m playing on a sinking ship and people telling me to abandon ship. So I’m not quite sure what to do at this point as I’m not interested in playing in a game with dying community. Obviously I’m still in the honeymoon phase of the game, and most complaints I’ve read are end game related.
