Ran into the most toxic group ever. - rant

So I was casually playing MM2 during my 30 minutes lunch break, then I ran into the most toxic group ever.

I was the murderer, you know I jumped a few times to avoid getting shot by the hero, then after the round the person were like, “spam jumping”. I responded to them like, “it’s a strat sound like a skill issue”. Then they went off on me, saying how I’m fat, I’m poor, I have no job based solely on my avatar. I have amounted to nothing (which I know it’s not true). I laughed it off at the beginning then her friends joined in and started insulting me. When I responded defending myself, they were like stop talking and when I stopped talking and entertaining them, they would do the same thing and talk back. Even after it was over with. I say just shut up because i was for real just done talking to them, they would join on their alts and say “kys” “you are a loser” “you fat ass bitch” “you are grown, get off the game” in voice chat. Calling me fat solely based on my avatar - even though it’s far from the truth.

It’s kinda bothering me, all of this over a fucking strat, and this is the type of shit that made me quit two years ago. I got back into recently since my little cousin play it heavily and I really had fun. Now I do not wanna play this game now since the community seemingly have gotten more toxic.
