Cervical mucus: ovulation vs post cum?

Based on the calendar I should have ovulated last week. Last night my boyfriend accidentally came inside. Today I have classic Ovulation type discharge, wondering if that can be from him coming inside last night. Is there a way to tell the difference? Last menstrual date was 7/12 so I don’t think I was ovulating no signs I was before he came.
