Affordable simple/analog digital camera options?
I mostly shoot film, largely on some very simple gear (Pentax K1000, Canon L2, Olympus 35RC). I’ve used a Canon Rebel T1i and a Canon Rebel T7 for digital, but I hate thumbing through menus to change ISO, white balance, aperture, shutter speed, focus point, etc. And these aren’t exactly the most advanced digital bodies themselves.
I’d love an option that preserves the basic nature of my film bodies, particularly a manual aperture ring and shutter speed dial, but most of the recommendations I see (Leica M10, Epson RD1) are extremely expensive. I don’t care much about the film “look” or film simulations; I’m mostly interested in operation and controls.
What are some basic, analog digital cameras that can be had for under $400?
