Will resetting Windows 10 from a USB using the Windows Media Creation tool reinstall the Recovery Partition?
Long story short I was trying to get switch my PC to Windows 11. It said I needed to enable Secure Boot and when I did more research it seemed like I needed to change more and more things to get to that point. I tried to do a bunch of research and found out that I first needed to switch my BIOS from Legacy to UEFI to use Secure Boot so I could update to Windows 11. One thing led to another after my research and I got overconfident in my abilities and I removed the Windows Recovery partition to try to complete the MBR2GPT conversion because I kept getting an error during that process too.
So bottom line I am just going to reinstall windows via a USB flash drive. When doing this what will it restore? Will it restore my BIOS to UEFI and enable secure boot? Will it also restore the Recovery Partition? I'm just kind of lost and unsure what to do now.
Thank you all for your help!
