Job reposted after final assessment
After two interviews and spending my entire weekend completing a lengthy assessment, the job I applied for was reposted this morning at 5:00 a.m. on LinkedIn, without any communication or update. The role only required 1–3 years of experience, and I have four, so I genuinely thought I had a shot. I put a lot of effort into the assessment, making sure every detail was polished to highlight my Excel skills. I didn’t hear anything on Monday, which I assumed was normal since I submitted it Sunday night. But then I got a LinkedIn notification saying my application was viewed again, when I clicked, I saw the job had been reopened. No rejection, no feedback, just a silent repost. This isn’t the first time either. A few months ago, I had a full-day panel interview, only to find out afterward that the job had been reposted under a different title and then “paused.” I haven’t received the official rejection for this latest one yet, but at this point, I’m just waiting to see if they ghost me completely. It’s honestly exhausting. What do employers even want anymore?
