Bunch of guys asking for charity near Aroma

Many months ago, l saw few guys asking for charity for langar near Aroma,22... l was with my husband, he ignored them and went towards the car. I was little behind him, these guys fooled me saying my husband asked to collect donation from me, when l offered 200, they manipulated me saying "Assi mann krde a tuc Punjabi o, tuc alteast 500 ta dao" Quickly made me sign and took 500. Later l found my husband said no such thing.

I havd met them quite a few times now. They do same thing... "Assi ta mann krde a tuc Punjabi o, thonu ta langar ch dene hi chahide ne" They won't stop easily.

Just wondering if this is genuine or it's a Scam?
