Xray referral?

Hello fellow Ottawans!

I fear I may have fractured something in my hand (not sure doing what, but consistent, sharp pain in a particular spot that is worsened when moved, and going on a month or so since I noticed it).

I have a family doctor but his practice is quite a hike from where I live now. Are there any other options where I could get it checked out/an xray referral? I’d hate to waste resources at the emergency room, and also don’t want to get unregistered from my family doctor if I go to another clinic (apparently this happens? I really wouldn’t want to risk it, or at least be certain it wouldn’t happen if I go to an Appletree).
