Chicago downtown/loop highlights for a visitor?

Hey everyone,

I’m visiting Chicago for the first time later this month and will be staying at the Arlo hotel (E Lake St and N Michigan Ave). I want to try all the foods Chicago is famous for while I’m there. I will not have a car, but don’t mind riding public transit.

I’m thinking deep dish pizza, Italian sandwich, Chicago hot dog, jibarito, maybe a Polish restaurant if possible (mom’s side of the family is Polish).
