My(25f) long distance ex boyfriend (31m) has all my things and won’t give them back

My (ex) boyfriend and I have recently gone long distance for work, we previously lived together. Since starting long distance we’ve had nothing but fights, about everything. Today he ended the relationship, and blocked me everywhere. The only problem is ALL of my things are at his house, four hours away. I have no idea how to get my things back, or contact him about how to get my things back. He works out of town and isn’t at our? (His?) place, he also took my key to the house “so someone can check on the cat while he’s at work”… so driving down to get it isn’t an option What do I do now? Call the cops? How do I get my things back?
