i hope someone steels this idea, that i'm kinda steeling and modifying.

Basic Idea

so you know how at the intro scene in one of the battlefields, you are a solder and you die and this happens like 10 times (it's on my list to play but i've only seen videos of it)

what if there was some similar idea, but with a horror, monster game. where the first person who goes in that cell, or the first time you go in that cell, you dont see bones, or corpses. you maybe see a few animals but the more you explore the more you you find the bones of the past. the secrets they uncovered have to be re-uncovered on further attempts, unless you make it past certain checkpoints. but the monster will always be super smart, and will not give a fuucckk, because you're one of many humans who will go in there. so some runs might last an hour, and other runs might be over within a minute or 2. but as long as you reach certain checkpoints, you can progress.

checkpoints could be reached by say, you exiting the building and whatever knowledge you uncover you share with a (real person, but that person is obscured, because that person will be next in line)

i'm also borrowing from the hacking game (idr the name) a little.

or say if you cant make it all the way back to the gate for a "full save" you can make it to a smaller information stash and both store and uncover information. of which those will be marked on your map.

maps.

maps could be pretty interesting. i think the first time you visit it you should have a map that was from the city, but the map is only generally right. so your character will have scribbles and corrections on the map. but as those maps get lost, or those map's areas dont get visted, those corrections can fade a little each new attempt with a new person. or say if you dont stash or do a full save, then a large amount, up to all of the corrections and scribbles could get lost.

i'm thinking first or 3rd person. big open map.

anyways, my music name is variance within so i'd like to do the soundtrack for that lol if anyone wanted to build it.
