Been off for almost a year and a half - my experience
The impossible to ignore cravings are gone. Every once in a while I'll think about vaping, but it's not a strong desire, even if people around me are vaping. I would say to those wondering about their withdrawal timelines that after 6 months you'll pretty much stop craving. Only triggers that you haven't experienced in a while will set off a small craving that's fairly easy to ignore. For example, if you always hit a vape when drinking or smoking weed and you only drank or smoke occasionally, seeing someone hit a vape can bring back a craving while in those states.
Now I hardly ever think about nicotine and feel a lot better. I will mention a weird withdrawal symptom I had which was a morning cough where I coughed up a lot of phlegm for months on end. It started about a month after I stopped vaping and continued for about 6 months. The doctors said my lungs were clear and I didn't have a cold that whole time. They tried treating me for acid reflux too and I still kept coughing every morning. I can only think it just took that long for my system to eradicate all the gunk from my lungs after years of vaping!
If you're still in the thick of it all I can say is hold on, it's so worth it! It feels amazing not having to rely on mystery poison that contaminates our lungs and throat.
