Civil structural surcharge problem

Just finished taking the civil structural exam and one problem is really bugging me. There was a retaining wall question asking for the magnitude of the active earth pressure forces. It gave you the friction angle and unit weight of backfill. It also had a plf surcharge labeled with no horizontal length… that’s kind of important information to have right? Just curious what other people thought about this before I submit a complaint on my NCEES account.
