$1000 a day to believe a random statement you read or hear every day
If you agree to the deal you immediately forget taking the deal.
You have zero prep time and must agree or reject the offer now.
If you agree are given a false memory of either purchasing a lottery ticket or having one gifted to you where you will receive $1000 a day for the rest of your life.
On any day you do not hear or read any statements the lottery company will apologize for it's clerical error, and the following day you will receive $2000 and believe 2 statements (this accumulates if you go multiple days without hearing or reading statements).
If something is observably untrue, additional side beliefs may form to support the belief. For example if someone says "John is a dinosaur" you may believe John is literally a dinosaur. But when you see John and see that he isn't a dinosaur a side belief may form to make you believe John is also a shapeshifter. Or you believe he is a dinosaur who got trans-species surgery. Or that he is a dinosaur that looks like a human.
You will not necessarily believe something is true forever unless specified but will believe it was true at the time of saying. If someone says "there's donuts in the break room" to you, you won't believe there will always be donuts in the breakroom but for the rest of your life if prompted will remember that on the 12th of August 2025 at 2pm there were donuts in the breakroom.
Contradictory statements that can be explained by something "changing" will simply have you believing the most recent statement is currently true. If you hear the moon is made of cheese one day and then you hear it's made of condensed clouds the next day you will believe the moon transformed but still believe it was made of cheese the day before.
However contradictory statements that can not be fixed by "it must have changed" explanation will cancel each other out.
For example if someone says "The sky has always been blue" and someone else says "The sky has never been blue" the two will cancel out and you will not know whether the sky is blue until you observe it for yourself.
The effect can trigger on the same statement multiple times, but if the effect triggers on a belief you already believe nothing special happens and it doesn't "stack" in any way.
The lottery company has an option whereby you can designate one or more charities of your choice to receive the money instead of you. If you ever decide to forgo the daily payment and have all the money go to charity you immediately remember taking the deal, you will stop believing new random statements, however the statements you've been made to believe you will still believe (But now knowing what's happened you can start going through and sorting out your beliefs from reality if you choose to).
Due to tax reasons and transfer fees or some financial mumbo jumbo you believe that if you were inclined to donate your money it would be better for the charities to receive the money directly from the lottery company rather than you receiving it and donating it.
