Moving in

Hello! I just moved in to Bed Stuy today, and I'm very excited to be here :) I'm on Hull Street in east Bed Stuy.

A couple things:

What are some cool things to check out in the area? I know I'm a little far from most of bed stuy and bushwick, but I'm willing to travel around.

Also, a few people have expressed concern for me, given my location in the neighborhood- I'm 27 and male, so tbh I'm not too concerned, but a few people have been a little nervous about how close I am to Brownsville and to Broadway Junction. When I first visited the place I felt very comfortable, and I feel quite comfortable now, but I'm curious if that's overblown or warranted, or if anyone has any suggestions for me about keeping myself safe.
