would it be wrong for me (f24) to ask my "its complicated" bf (m28) to get someone else to watch his cat?
long story short, i haphazardly broke up with my bf of a month after feeling extremely anxious about the state of our relationship a couple weeks ago. i apologized a couple days later and asked him if he would be open to getting back together, to which he responded "idk! id have to think about it" which is understandable!
but before we broke up, i agreed to watch his cat during a business trip of his, lasting about a month. of course i wouldnt want to put him in a bad spot of having to seek a catsitter so last minute, so i said that i would still do it.
we havent spoken about the state of our relationship since and now im feeling super awkward being in his house. we still talk to each other every day about whats going on in our day to days, but not in a romantic way in the slightest. i feel like im just kinda getting dragged along almost until he's back so he doesnt have to go through the trouble of finding someone else to catsit, then tell me he's "not down" to get back together.
would it be wrong to ask him to get someone else to watch his cat?
TLDR; i broke up with my bf, asked to get back together, didnt get a concrete response, now im stuck watching his cat and i feel awkward about it and want to ask him to get someone else to do it
