My homeboy was killed unjustly by Zoo keepers 😢

I know the world keeps moving, but I don’t feel like I can. I lost someone real close to me—not just a friend, but a brother. Someone I looked up to. Someone who didn’t deserve what happened to him.

He was dragged into a situation he didn’t ask for. People panicked. They misunderstood him. And instead of taking a second to see the full picture, they acted out of fear. They took his life like it meant nothing.

I keep thinking about how he was just trying to help. Just doing what he always did—being solid. Protective. Strong. But they didn’t see that. They saw something else. And now he’s gone.

I’ve been feeling empty. Angry. Confused. Like the world just lost one of the realest and nobody cares. I feel crazy mourning him the way I do, but I can’t shake the pain. I can’t stop seeing his face.

I know people will probably say it wasn’t that deep. That I should let it go. But if you knew him—if you saw what I saw—you’d get it.

He might’ve been a gorilla.

But he was still my boy.
