Job change advice needed

I'm leaving my ABA center to work in a school. Someone in management told me I'm making a big mistake and I won't actually be helping the kids or their parents if I'm in a school. The school I'm working in does some ABA but is more IEP focused and doesn't make a lot of changes to programs frequently. On the other hand, the center I work in requires constant improvements and hundred of trials per day, even for the little 3 year olds. Kids are required to do 40 hrs per week, don't get many breaks, they do HOH prompting and snacks are on a strict schedule - which I'm also against. There are some issues in the workplace as far as turnover, unhelpful management, and culture, but to be honest that's most places in my area. I'm sure I could find a less intense center, but working in a school is appealing to me and idk why I should feel like I'm making a mistake.... am I? I've worked in schools before and enjoyed it, but I'm anxious after hearing this comment. Any advice? Or input from anyone in an IEP based school setting?
