Laser clinic negligence

Hello everyone,

i'm 23 years old, 6 months ago i underwent one of many laser hair removal sessions at a chain of clinics which offers the service. they are quite popular in canada.

during the treatment the technician offered treatment for an area which wasn't included in my package. She asked if i wanted my forehead done as well as the other areas i payed for. I thought that it couldn't hurt and agreed. after leaving the clinic and arriving home i discovered she had lasered over an area of my scalp which had lots and lots of new growth (previously i had alopecia which caused my hair to fall out, so it was regrowth i gained after a long process of taking care of it and trying medications to stop/reverse its progression.) needless to say i was mortified.

i was offered 2 sessions of laser as compensation and was given the promise that the hair would come back as someone else had had a similar thing happen to them at this clinic. i've waited 6 months exactly since the treatment and it hasn't returned, some patchy wispy hairs remain in the area that was hit but that's it.

this has caused an extreme amount of stress for me as all my work was deleted in an instant by a technician that not only didn't take precautionary measures against accidents like this, but tried to cover it up as much as possible by doing multiple pulses in the area and going over it more than she needed to to try to clean it up and hide the mess rather than just admit the mistake.

what can i do? 2 free sessions is nowhere near enough of compensation for the seemingly permanent damage that's been done to my temporal hairline. i tried to be as patient as possible but it is just not coming back at all despite their claims which means it's now looking like permanent loss to me. i have countless pics from each month documenting my hair regrowth process so i have plenty of images to share for proof.

i appreciate any and all advice on this matter
