I just found out my 14yo online friend’s parents don’t buy him things like food and I don’t know what to do

So I was talking to my online friend today and he told me that he had to block and cut off his other friend who i had recently started befriending too, I asked why and he said his boss told him to because apparently he had insulted his boss. I was confused because he’s 14 (very nearly 15) and I didn’t know he had a job previously, apparently he boosts people’s ranks in rocket league for money and apparently his boss (idk wth his boss does) pays him money too. I was going to tell him that he needs to have a converstation with his boss about that but before I could he told me he has a job because he said “my parents don’t buy me anything as i get money so if i didn’t i wouldn’t be able to survive”. I was freaked out as hell and asked more and apparently his parents wouldn’t buy him food unless he’s ”basically starving“. He knows it’s not normal but he’s not really bothered about it because he apparently has 2.6k in the bank so it’s not really a problem and it “feels rewarding”. I said I understand if it’s not a problem but I’m still very concerned, plus I don’t want him cutting off friends because of it.
