I cannot tell where they're coming from for the life of me (please help 😭 ) [NYC]

Atp, I'm not even sure if they're coming from my apt or not. Since I've seen the people below me throw out a mattress a month ago and it didn't have any signs of bed bugs.

A couple times a week, I'll wake up to one carpet beetle on my desk in the morning. Occasionally, I've seen some on my comforter as well, but it's usually on my desk. The desk occurrences have been happening on and off for a couple months now. I've seen a hole in a few different shirts, but Idk if that's because they're old or from the beetles. I haven't seen any larvae, but I feel like they must be in the apt if I keep seeing them in my room.

I only see them in my room and nowhere else. We're moving this week and I don't want to bring them with me, but I'm totally unable to find the source of them and it's driving me crazy. I haven't seen them in any clothes I've left in the closet or drawer. I've only seen the holes in clothes I left out after doing the laundry and didn't fold until later. I'm just wondering where to check at this point, maybe my mattress?
