Why won’t a lot of parents acknowledge the drawbacks of daycare?

There are drawbacks to daycare for children under 3 (and limited benefits under 3). The literature is fairly clear on this. I can imagine how over stimulating it is especially for young infants. Not to mention centers that let kids CIO to sleep.

It seems like sleep training. No one dare say anything against it. In protecting adult feelings/wants we aren’t always looking at the best interest of kids.

Full disclaimer: I will be using daycare (as little as I possibly can) but will call it like it is. I realize it is 100% necessary for some families. Do not feel guilty if you have to use daycare.
