Affordable custom jeweler to create a ring with?

Not an engagement ring* I have my own diamond and want to take it to a jewelry in nyc to come to life. Anyone recommend an affordable jeweler for custom pieces? If I have the diamond Id ideally like to to pay cost for materials but obviously more for their time. Just trying to keep it under 1k
